Melissa contacted me the week before Christmas looking to have some family photos taken. They all had matching pajamas, and wanted some quick pictures as they haven’t had any done in a while. We were supposed to shoot at Lake Overholser (we all know its one of my favorite places) But the day before, I just wasn’t feeling it. Although Overholser is beautiful, it didn’t seem very happy, fun or Christmasy looking. So at the last second, I ended up suggesting a random spot that I knew had at least a few green trees and I crossed my fingers in hopes that it would work for the shoot. The next day I arrived early to scope it out. It was perfect! Some amazing act of nature had spread white fluffy stuff all over the ground and trees. With 70 degree temperatures in Oklahoma, magically, we were still able to shoot in a winter wonderland! Melissa, you have the sweetest family. I had a great time getting to know you all! Thank you for allowing me to capture your memories!!!
